UGGS

These UGGS are for the 18" dolls.  The fabric is from the Hobby Lobby remnant bin.  My daughter loves them!  The pattern took a long while to figure out after "draping" muslin on the pair of boots that came with the doll.  The sole of the shoe is black foam core.  Once I stitched the upper, I hot glued it to the edge of the sole.  Totally worked.

I have just recently bought 2 American Girls dolls for my daughter but she is not getting them until her 5th birthday in April. I also bought some books on how to make clothes for them (haven't started yet) and have been thinking about how on earth to make shoes for them! You are amazing and I love the UGG boots! I might have to try them myself for our upcoming winter.
